Here at Bar Solita we decided to start a neighborhood blog highlighting all of the awesome things happening here in the Arts District. There are so many things to eat, see and do here we don’t want anyone to miss anything. Our restaurant is located right in the heart of the Arts District making it so easy to make a day out of your brunch, lunch, or dinner trip. You can stop by here at Bar Solita and grab a map of the district to help you plan out the rest of your day.

The Richmond Arts District is the first of its kind in the city of Richmond. The district spans from VCU’s Institute for Contemporary Art to the State Capitol. It encompasses both the Jackson Ward and the Monroe Ward neighborhoods. But don’t let the size intimidate you, you don’t have to do everything in one day!

The goal for our new blog is to really include the entire neighborhood. We want to see the success of our RVA Hospitality restaurants as well as the businesses around us. We know that the Arts District is the place to be in Richmond. There are museums, theaters, art galleries, places to stay, tons of restaurants and so many places to shop we are never bored here and we don’t think you will be either!

The Richmond Discovery Map has an entire section dedicated to the Arts District, making it easy to find your way around.
